A-Pass” is a new account system that integrates the accounts of ‘SMOOSY,’ a membership management service for academic societies, and ‘Confit,’ a support service for academic conferences, into a single account.
Have you ever felt the hassle of managing separate IDs and passwords for logging in to the membership system of an academic society and for registering for presentations and participation in academic conferences? A-Pass” removes such complications and realizes smooth and efficient account management.
In December 2024, the Confit account was renamed and relaunched as A-Pass.
A-Pass” allows researchers to use a single account to access the Confit and SMOOSY services provided by Atlas Corporation. This eliminates the need to maintain several IDs and passwords.
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) login is supported. No new registration procedures are required as existing international researcher IDs can be used.
The information registered with “A-Pass” is protected by robust security. It protects your important personal information and research results. In addition, information registered with “A-Pass” is used only to support the operation of the conference and is not provided to any third party for advertising purposes. You can use this service with peace of mind.
The academic societies can also improve the efficiency of their administrative operations by centralizing membership information and management of presentations and participation at academic conferences. This is beneficial for both researchers who wish to join the society and participate in conferences, and for the society that manages them.
A-Pass” was designed to solve the problems that researchers face, such as ‘Too many accounts are too much work’ and ”I don't know which one to use. A-Pass” aims to make your daily conference activities more comfortable.
Atlas Corporation is conducting a donation drive based on the number of A-Pass accounts created, titled the Atlas Moegi Project, which will help expand educational opportunities for children and students who may become future researchers by increasing the use of A-Pass.
