A passkey is a way to log in to websites and apps using the lock feature already built into your device (such as fingerprint authentication, face recognition, or screen lock).
With A-Pass, passkey login is available for both Confit and SMOOSY.
Not only does this mean you no longer need to remember or enter a password, but it also helps prevent unauthorized login attempts, such as those from phishing sites. As a result, you can use these services with even greater peace of mind than before.
To use passkey login, you must first log in to each service with your A-Pass email address and set up a passkey in advance on the A-Pass Account Settings screen.

Log in to each service using your A-Pass email address, then open the Account Settings screen.
For instructions on how to open the Account Settings screen, please see How do I access the Account Settings screen?.
Open the Passkey Setting menu and click the Register Passkey button.

Follow the on-screen instructions to register your device's fingerprint authentication, face recognition, screen lock, or similar as your passkey.
※ Registering a passkey requires prior setup on your PC, smartphone, or browser. Please check the setup instructions for your specific device and browser for details.
After registering a passkey, if you would like to further strengthen security, you can disable login using your email address and password.
If needed, click Configure, then use the Change button on the next screen to disable your password.
※ Even if you can no longer use your passkey (for example, because you lost your device), you can restore password login by resetting your password.

⬇️

Each passkey you register is automatically given a name based on information such as your device name. If you would like to change it to something easier to recognize, please see Can I change the name (registered name) of my passkey?.

If you lose or replace the device on which you registered a passkey
The passkey registered on that device can no longer be used. Please log in with your A-Pass email address and password, and set up your passkey again.
If you have disabled password login, resetting your password will allow you to log in again using your email address and password.
